The Hawaii CREP team used a peer learning approach to engage new landowners in recognizing the benefits (and challenges) associated with committing to the CREP program and implementing conservation and restoration practices on their own land.
Idaho based Island Park Sustainable Fire Community (“IPSFC”) is a collaborative group that is committed to helping local residents prepare for and minimize the consequences of wildfires. In early 2014 representatives attended a TELE workshop to develop a communications plan. IPSFC completed their first summer of door-to-door outreach from May-September 2014.
